Welcome word from 4Point Founder & Chairman of the Board Barrie G. Ellis
Over the years we have seen a lot of trends and new technologies come and go. In the Adobe world we have seen the arrival of LiveCycle, and now the evolution of LiveCycle into AEM. We have seen the birth of Adobe WCM and have seen it take its place along with Forms, Documents, Process Management, Security, Signatures, etc. From an industry perspective we have seen the birth and growth of exciting new technological environments such as Mobile computing.
What does all of this mean to our partners and customers? How do they include these changes into their strategies? How do they make it work? How do they move from where they were yesterday, and where they are today into these new technologies? Many are discovering that they are way more questions than they could have believed; and not enough answers.
The purpose of this blog is to create an environment where our technical team can share their insights, knowledge, opinions and experiences with you. Questions such as how do we move to a mobile platform? Has anyone one else done it? What are the pitfalls? Does it actually work? Questions like how can Adaptive forms help me. How do they work? Can I use my existing templates? How do I migrate to them? How long will it take?
Over the next few months we will be sharing our knowledge and experiences with you. Have a topic you want discussed – let us know and we will tell you about our experiences.
Welcome to the 4Point Blog!
